Estas c\u00e9lulas permiten que los alimentos pasen a trav\u00e9s del cuerpo sin desencadenar una reacci\u00f3n inmune. Sin embargo, la investigaci\u00f3n dio como resultado que en aquellos ratones que funcionaban mal, causaban alergias alimentarias y asma.<\/p>\n<p>Un trabajo previo de este mismo equipo hab\u00eda revelado que estas mismas c\u00e9lulas controlan la tolerancia inmune a las bacterias intestinales, que ayudan a los humanos a digerir los alimentos y a controlar las funciones de m\u00faltiples sistemas de \u00f3rganos. Pero se sab\u00eda muy poco si controlaban otras tolerancias.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quotebefore.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Las c\u00e9lulas dendriticas que expresan ROR-express son componentes clave en la respuesta regulatoria inmunitaria que previene las alergias alimentaria<\/p>\n<p>Dan Littman, autor principal<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quoteafter.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNuestro estudio muestra que las c\u00e9lulas dendriticas que expresan ROR-express son componentes clave en la respuesta regulatoria inmunitaria que previene las alergias alimentarias\u201d, apunta el autor principal del estudio Dan Littman, junto a Helen L. y Martin S. Kimmel de la Escuela de Medicina Grossman de la NYU.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Mantiener el equilibrio en el microbioma<\/h2>\n<p>Las c\u00e9lulas dendr\u00edticas presentan peque\u00f1os fragmentos de material biol\u00f3gico (conocidos como ant\u00edgenos) para recibir atenci\u00f3n por otras c\u00e9lulas inmunitarias llamadas c\u00e9lulas T. Esto programa la c\u00e9lula T para lanzar un ataque inmune la siguiente vez que encuentre el ant\u00edgeno.<\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores demostraron que cuando las c\u00e9lulas dendr\u00edticas tolerog\u00e9nicas presentan ant\u00edgenos de alimentos o microbios amigables a las c\u00e9lulas T, dichas c\u00e9lulas T se vuelven antiinflamatorias, o regulatorias.
