Los\u00a0resultados\u00a0obtenidos muestran que la radiaci\u00f3n UV que alcanza la superficie del cr\u00e1ter Gale se compone, en promedio, de 79,6 % UV-A, 15,3 % UV-B y 5,1 % UV-C.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Una protecci\u00f3n impredecible<\/h2>\n<p>La radiaci\u00f3n UV-C es particularmente da\u00f1ina para los seres vivos. En la Tierra, esta radiaci\u00f3n es absorbida por la capa de ozono que protege nuestro planeta. La atm\u00f3sfera de Marte, a pesar de contener ozono, es unas 100 veces m\u00e1s tenue y, por tanto, no apantalla de la misma manera. Estas variaciones son complejas e impredecibles con los modelos atmosf\u00e9ricos actuales.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque las dosis de UV en Marte son muy superiores a las existentes en la Tierra actual, sus niveles son comparables a los que se cree que exist\u00edan en la Tierra primitiva, cuando la vida se origin\u00f3 y evolucion\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, este estudio demuestra que la radiaci\u00f3n UV que alcanza la superficie marciana no es absolutamente incompatible con la vida.
