EFSA was mandated to identify a safe fall\u2010back MRL in lettuces since, for the current MRL of 40 mg\/kg, acute consumer intake concerns could not be excluded. After an ad hoc data call, some Member States reported several potential fall\u2010back good agricultural practices (GAPs) and submitted residue trial data to support the fall\u2010back MRL options. An appropriate fall\u2010back MRL value of 30 mg\/kg was identified by EFSA.
