{"id":150051,"date":"2025-07-09T16:28:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-09T15:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helloproject.es\/vigilancia\/restos-del-lado-oculto-de-la-luna-podrian-explicar-el-origen-de-su-asimetria\/"},"modified":"2025-07-09T16:28:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-09T15:28:10","slug":"restos-del-lado-oculto-de-la-luna-podrian-explicar-el-origen-de-su-asimetria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helloproject.es\/vigilancia\/restos-del-lado-oculto-de-la-luna-podrian-explicar-el-origen-de-su-asimetria\/","title":{"rendered":"Restos del lado oculto de la Luna podr\u00edan explicar el origen de su asimetr\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En 2024, la misi\u00f3n china Chang\u2019e 6 recogi\u00f3 muestras de la cara oculta de la Luna en la cuenca del Polo Sur-Aitken \u2014uno de los cr\u00e1teres m\u00e1s grandes del sistema solar\u2014 y las compar\u00f3 con otros restos tra\u00eddos por el Apolo 12.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora un estudio de la Universidad China de las Ciencias revela que estos fragmentos, de\u00a02 800 millones de a\u00f1os\u00a0de antig\u00fcedad, carecen\u00a0de sustancias qu\u00edmicas normalmente presentes en este tipo de rocas, como son el estroncio y el neodimio.\u00a0El an\u00e1lisis demuestra que proced\u00edan de una parte interior de la Luna \u2014el manto\u2014 que hab\u00eda perdido muchos de sus elementos originales debido a dos hip\u00f3tesis principales: una cristalizaci\u00f3n de magma lunar o por impactos y colisiones.\u00a0Los detalles de la investigaci\u00f3n se publican\u00a0en la revista\u00a0Nature.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta ahora, el conocimiento sobre la asimetr\u00eda lunar se hab\u00eda centrado en la superficie<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl primer escenario indicar\u00eda que el manto de la cara visible y la cara oculta comparten algunas similitudes petrol\u00f3gicas y geoqu\u00edmicas\u201d, cuenta a SINC uno autores de este estudio y profesor de la Universidad China de las Ciencias, Wei Yang. \u201cEl segundo resaltar\u00eda que los impactos masivos posteriores a la acreci\u00f3n podr\u00edan haber afectado potencialmente a la evoluci\u00f3n del manto subyacente\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta ahora, el conocimiento sobre la asimetr\u00eda lunar se hab\u00eda centrado en la superficie, como el volumen de erupciones volc\u00e1nicas o espesor, y los cient\u00edficos no ten\u00edan claro si dicha desigualdad tambi\u00e9n pod\u00eda observarse en el manto.<\/p>\n<p>No obstante, al comparar el enriquecimiento o empobrecimiento de los mantos lunares en las diferentes caras de este sat\u00e9lite, \u201cpodemos determinar si se cristalizaron a partir del mismo oc\u00e9ano de magma o si sufrieron procesos posteriores de mezcla o extracci\u00f3n de masa fundida, contesta Yang.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>No tan asim\u00e9tricas<\/h2>\n<p>Todav\u00eda existen muchas teor\u00edas sobre el origen de su asimetr\u00eda y hasta ahora no se hab\u00edan estudiado las muestras de la parte oculta de la Luna.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando Yang y su equipo compararon las muestras del\u00a0Chang\u2019e 6\u00a0con las que trajo el\u00a0Apolo 12\u00a0en 1969, se dieron cuenta de que ambas reflejaban un manto lunar muy empobrecido y ten\u00edan la misma evoluci\u00f3n isot\u00f3pica; es decir, sus elementos qu\u00edmicos cambiaban de la misma forma con el paso del tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>Yang y su equipo compararon sus fragmentos con las que trajo el\u00a0Apolo 12\u00a0se dieron cuenta de que ambas reflejaban un manto lunar muy empobrecido\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa similitud entre los basaltos de Chang\u2019e 6 y los del Apolo indican que los mantos profundos del lado cercano y de lejano son similares desde el punto de vista petrol\u00f3gico y geoqu\u00edmico\u201d, sostiene el cient\u00edfico. \u201cY aunque esto no se afirme expl\u00edcitamente en el art\u00edculo, creo que esta similitud respalda la hip\u00f3tesis del oc\u00e9ano de magma lunar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Un origen incierto<\/h2>\n<p>No obstante, todav\u00eda quedan interrogantes sin responder como la formaci\u00f3n de un manto lunar empobrecido, seg\u00fan advierte el cient\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSi el manto se form\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de la cristalizaci\u00f3n del oc\u00e9ano de magma, esto implicar\u00eda que la Luna era sim\u00e9trica al menos durante las primeras etapas del oc\u00e9ano de magma\u201d, responde a SINC. \u201cLa forma desigual se debe entonces al resultado de procesos posteriores\u201d, aduce.<\/p>\n<p>Todav\u00eda quedan interrogantes sin responder como la formaci\u00f3n de un\u00a0manto lunar empobrecido<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, en caso de que el manto se formara con la extracci\u00f3n de material fundido causada por alg\u00fan impacto en la cuenca del Polo Sur Aitken, este podr\u00eda haber desempe\u00f1ado un papel significativo en la formaci\u00f3n de la asimetr\u00eda lunar.<\/p>\n<p>Ante ambas hip\u00f3tesis, todav\u00eda hacen falta m\u00e1s estudios para saber c\u00f3mo se formo la asimetr\u00eda de la Luna.
