The FEEDAP Panel concluded that acacia gum does not raise concerns for genotoxicity and is considered safe for all animal species, at levels ranging 278\u20134889 mg\/kg complete feed. Regarding the user safety, the additive was considered a potential dermal and respiratory sensitiser, and any exposure by dermal or inhalation routes is considered a risk.
