Departamento de Agua y Cambio Global y bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Claus Kohfahl, ha analizado en las dunas del Parque Nacional de Do\u00f1ana (Huelva) c\u00f3mo el agua de lluvia se infiltra, se evapora o se almacena en el subsuelo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>El estudio, publicado en\u00a0Journal of Hydrology\u00a0en 2025, compara por primera vez en Espa\u00f1a el funcionamiento de un lis\u00edmetro de gran tama\u00f1o con otro m\u00e1s compacto.<\/p>\n<p>Para procesos m\u00e1s sutiles como la\u00a0evaporaci\u00f3n\u00a0o la condensaci\u00f3n, el modelo grande de lis\u00edmetros sigue siendo insustituible<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n demuestra que los lis\u00edmetros peque\u00f1os pueden medir con gran precisi\u00f3n la infiltraci\u00f3n en suelos sin vegetaci\u00f3n, para ofrecer as\u00ed una alternativa m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mica y sencilla sobre el control del agua subterr\u00e1nea en espacios protegidos.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, para procesos m\u00e1s sutiles como la evaporaci\u00f3n o la condensaci\u00f3n, el modelo grande de lis\u00edmetros sigue siendo insustituible.\u00a0El trabajo revela, adem\u00e1s, aportes de agua no registrados por pluvi\u00f3metros tradicionales \u2014como roc\u00edo, niebla o condensaci\u00f3n\u2014 que resultan vitales para la conservaci\u00f3n de acu\u00edferos en entornos semi\u00e1ridos como Do\u00f1ana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHemos comprobado que incluso los lis\u00edmetros m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os pueden ofrecer datos fiables y \u00fatiles para entender la recarga de acu\u00edferos\u201d,
