Seg\u00fan los resultados, publicados en la revista PNAS, los animales salvajes y dom\u00e9sticos aumentaron su envergadura de manera similar hasta que aument\u00f3 la presi\u00f3n de selecci\u00f3n humana en la Edad Media, tanto en forma de caza como a trav\u00e9s la domesticaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los autores compararon los datos arqueol\u00f3gicos con\u00a0marcadores ambientales, clim\u00e1ticos y antropog\u00e9nicos<\/p>\n<p>El equipo investigador analiz\u00f3 225 780 huesos procedentes de 311 yacimientos arqueol\u00f3gicos del Mediterr\u00e1neo franc\u00e9s, que abarcan los \u00faltimos 8 000 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Los autores compararon los datos arqueol\u00f3gicos con marcadores ambientales, clim\u00e1ticos y antropog\u00e9nicos para identificar la evoluci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o corporal en especies salvajes como el ciervo rojo, el zorro rojo, la liebre com\u00fan y el conejo, y en especies dom\u00e9sticas, como la oveja, la cabra, la vaca, el cerdo y el pollo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Diferenciaci\u00f3n en la Edad Media<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cNuestros an\u00e1lisis revelaron una sincron\u00eda duradera entre especies salvajes y dom\u00e9sticas hasta el \u00faltimo milenio, ambas influenciadas por una interacci\u00f3n de factores ambientales y antropog\u00e9nicos\u201d, dicen los autores en el art\u00edculo.<\/p>\n<p>Las especies salvajes disminuyeron progresivamente de tama\u00f1o debido al aumento de la caza y la fragmentaci\u00f3n del h\u00e1bitat<\/p>\n<p>Es decir, desde el Neol\u00edtico hasta principios de la Edad Media (6000 a. C. a 1000 d. C.), la envergadura de especies salvajes y dom\u00e9sticas evolucion\u00f3 de manera similar. Esto sugiere una respuesta com\u00fan a las presiones humanas y medioambientales.<\/p>\n<p>Pero durante la Edad Media y la Era Moderna (1000 a 2000 d. C.), la evoluci\u00f3n empez\u00f3 a diferenciarse por la influencia humana.
