{"id":183686,"date":"2025-10-08T11:28:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T10:28:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helloproject.es\/vigilancia\/disenan-nanoanillos-de-proteinas-que-detectan-y-neutralizan-el-virus-sars-cov-2\/"},"modified":"2025-10-08T11:28:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T10:28:09","slug":"disenan-nanoanillos-de-proteinas-que-detectan-y-neutralizan-el-virus-sars-cov-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helloproject.es\/vigilancia\/disenan-nanoanillos-de-proteinas-que-detectan-y-neutralizan-el-virus-sars-cov-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Dise\u00f1an nanoanillos de prote\u00ednas que detectan y neutralizan el virus SARS-CoV-2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Un equipo internacional de cient\u00edficos ha generado un nuevo nanomaterial de prote\u00ednas con forma de anillo capaz de unirse fuertemente al virus SARS-CoV-2 y neutralizarlo.<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n,\u00a0llevada a cabo investigadores del Instituto de Biotecnolog\u00eda y Biomedicina de la Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona (IBB-UAB) y del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas y T\u00e9cnicas (CONICET) de Argentina,\u00a0destaca la polivalencia del sistema ideado para dise\u00f1ar los nanoanillos, que puede integrar capacidades terap\u00e9uticas y diagn\u00f3sticas y adaptarse para combatir otros virus.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo nanomaterial est\u00e1 formado por un andamio de prote\u00ednas recombinantes en forma de anillo (RLP\u00a0por las siglas en ingl\u00e9s de ring-like particles)\u00a0al que han incorporado unas miniprote\u00ednas creadas por el equipo de expertos en un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/web\/sala-de-prensa\/detalle-noticia\/disenan-nanoparticulas-capaces-de-capturar-y-neutralizar-grandes-cantidades-del-virus-sars-cov-2-1345830290069.html?detid=1345932052360\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/web\/sala-de-prensa\/detalle-noticia\/disenan-nanoparticulas-capaces-de-capturar-y-neutralizar-grandes-cantidades-del-virus-sars-cov-2-1345830290069.html?detid=1345932052360\">estudio previo<\/a>. Esta estructura (RLP-1,3), que contiene hasta una veintena de puntos de uni\u00f3n de las miniprote\u00ednas al virus, se autoensambla en nanopart\u00edculas estables, biocompatibles y homog\u00e9neas que se adhieren de manera muy potente a la part\u00edcula infectiva del virus, Spike-ACE2, y la neutralizan.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quotebefore.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La actividad de uni\u00f3n al virus de la nueva nanopart\u00edcula supera los\u00a0anticuerpos monoclonales de referencia\u00a0y las terapias hiperinmunes cl\u00ednicamente aprobadas<\/p>\n<p>Salvador Ventura, investigador del IBB-UAB<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quoteafter.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa actividad de uni\u00f3n al virus de la nueva nanopart\u00edcula supera los anticuerpos monoclonales de referencia y las terapias hiperinmunes cl\u00ednicamente aprobadas\u00bb, explica\u00a0Salvador Ventura, investigador del IBB-UAB y director del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n Parc Taul\u00ed (I3PT), que ha coliderado la investigaci\u00f3n. \u00abAdem\u00e1s, hemos visto que tambi\u00e9n se puede adaptar para el diagn\u00f3stico de la infecci\u00f3n, con un nivel de detecci\u00f3n superior al de los ensayos comerciales\u00bb, a\u00f1ade.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Miniprote\u00ednas con IA<\/h2>\n<p>Para generar el nanoanillo, los investigadores se han inspirado en las propiedades de unas estructuras seguras presentes en algunos virus. \u00abEl resultado que hemos obtenido demuestra c\u00f3mo integrar nanoandamios basados en estas estructuras con el dise\u00f1o de miniprote\u00ednas con IA permite crear biomateriales multifuncionales de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n\u00bb, destaca Dami\u00e1n \u00c1lvarez Paggi, director del Laboratorio de Nanobioingenier\u00eda del CONICET.<\/p>\n<p>El sistema que han dise\u00f1ado permite\u00a0cambiar las miniprote\u00ednas por otras de inter\u00e9s para inhibir otros virus. De este modo, el nanoanillo, que ha sido patentado por la UAB y el CONICET, ofrece una soluci\u00f3n que permite \u00abenchufar\u00bb y \u00abdesenchufar\u00bb nuevas mol\u00e9culas con capacidad terap\u00e9utica y diagn\u00f3stica, lo que lo posiciona como una alternativa flexible ante brotes infecciosos o pandemias, concluyen los investigadores.<\/p>\n<p>Referencia:<\/p>\n<p>M.
