OpenAI acaba de lanzar\u00a0ChatGPT Atlas, un nuevo navegador que permite usar la inteligencia artificial (IA) de ChatGPT en la web para ofrecer una experiencia m\u00e1s personalizada y que competir\u00e1 con Chrome de Google.<\/p>\n

En una presentaci\u00f3n virtual, celebrada este martes, el director ejecutivo de la empresa, Sam Altman, apunt\u00f3 que este proyecto \u201ca\u00fan est\u00e1 en su primera etapa\u201d y que por el momento solo est\u00e1 disponible para los usuarios de macOS \u201cen todo el mundo\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, el \u201cmodo agente\u201d de ChatGPT Atlas \u2014dise\u00f1ado para realizar tareas m\u00e1s complejas, como hacer compras\u2014 solo est\u00e1 disponible por ahora para usuarios de ChatGPT Plus y Pro.<\/p>\n

Primeras etapas<\/h2>\n

Altman dijo que esta nueva herramienta \u201cte conoce mejor\u201d y que \u201cencuentra proactivamente\u201d lo que el usuario quiere buscar en internet.<\/p>\n

En este sentido, Adam Fry, l\u00edder de producto de ChatGPT Search, resalt\u00f3 que ChatGPT Atlas tiene \u201cmemoria\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa memoria es una caracter\u00edstica crucial de ChatGPT que a los usuarios les encanta. Que, a medida que usas ChatGPT, (el chatbot) se vuelve m\u00e1s personalizado y puede comprender al usuario mejor. Lo mismo suceder\u00e1 al navegar por la web en Atlas\u201d, explic\u00f3 Fry.<\/p>\n

En la presentaci\u00f3n se destac\u00f3 que el objetivo final es que el usuario tenga en todo momento \u201cun compa\u00f1ero mientras busca en la web\u201d.<\/p>\n

ChatGPT Atlas da la opci\u00f3n a los navegantes de partir la pantalla en dos para que en la parte derecha de la pantalla siempre se pueda acceder al chat con la IA, para preguntar cosas como: \u201cResume esta web en cinco palabras\u201d.<\/p>\n

Cada vez m\u00e1s IA en los buscadores<\/h2>\n

Este verano, Perplexity lanz\u00f3 su navegador Comet, que en lugar de responder a las preguntas de los usuarios\u00a0 con una larga lista de resultados de b\u00fasqueda ofrece enlaces a sitios web relevantes y genera una respuesta a la consulta.<\/p>\n
