Los expertos concluyeron que la presencia de esta combinaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas ayudar\u00eda a los\u00a0cardiomiocitos\u00a0a tolerar la demanda el\u00e9ctrica y energ\u00e9tica que impone este tipo de condici\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>La ablaci\u00f3n interrumpe la arritmia<\/h2>\n<p>Para saberlo, los investigadores analizaron el tejido card\u00edaco de pacientes con fibrilaci\u00f3n auricular persistente y estudiaron modelos experimentales avanzados con caracter\u00edsticas similares al coraz\u00f3n humano.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, demostraron la relevancia de estas regiones impulsoras al observar que su eliminaci\u00f3n selectiva, mediante t\u00e9cnicas como la ablaci\u00f3n, interrump\u00eda la arritmia y se asociaba a una mejor\u00eda en el control del ritmo a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio abre la puerta a nuevas estrategias terap\u00e9uticas dirigidas a poblaciones celulares y moleculares, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los cardiomiocitos<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn todo caso, cabe resaltar que este sustrato puede evolucionar en el tiempo\u201d, a\u00f1ade Filgueiras. \u201cEn el tratamiento integral de estos pacientes, ser\u00e1 fundamental considerar estrategias de vida saludable y control adecuado de factores de riesgo cardiovascular\u201d, concluye.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hoy en d\u00eda, la fibrilaci\u00f3n auricular es el trastorno el\u00e9ctrico m\u00e1s habitual y representa uno de los mayores retos terap\u00e9uticos en fases persistentes, donde la vuelta a un ritmo normal es muy poco probable.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Los autores destacan que estos hallazgos describen mecanismos adaptativos regionales y espec\u00edficos en cada paciente que permiten la persistencia de la fibrilaci\u00f3n auricular.
