Estos dispositivos combinan electr\u00f3nica flexible en miniatura con islotes pancre\u00e1ticos derivados de c\u00e9lulas madre humanas, lo que permite por primera vez monitorizar en tiempo real la actividad el\u00e9ctrica relacionada con la regulaci\u00f3n de la glucosa en las c\u00e9lulas alfa y beta mientras estas maduran.<\/p>\n<p>Para el equipo cient\u00edfico, este avance es un paso cr\u00edtico hacia la medicina personalizada y el trasplante de tejidos<\/p>\n<p>Las c\u00e9lulas de los islotes pancre\u00e1ticos son responsables de secretar hormonas fundamentales: el glucag\u00f3n (c\u00e9lula alfa) y la insulina (c\u00e9lula beta). Este proceso ocurre como respuesta directa a cambios el\u00e9ctricos en la membrana celular. Gracias a la electr\u00f3nica implantada, los cient\u00edficos no solo han podido observar estos cambios, sino tambi\u00e9n estimular las c\u00e9lulas para potenciar su capacidad de respuesta ante el az\u00facar en sangre.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan explican los autores en el estudio\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/esl\/Noticias\/www.science.org\/doi\/10.1126\/science.aeb3295\" target=\"_blank\">publicado esta semana<\/a>\u00a0en la revista\u00a0Science, \u201cimplantar y distribuir esta nanoelectr\u00f3nica en los cuerpos de los organoides en desarrollo nos permite estudiar la din\u00e1mica de la electrofisiolog\u00eda a escala celular durante la organog\u00e9nesis\u201d.
