Preferencia r\u00e1pida por el alcohol<\/h2>\n

Los investigadores observaron esta parte del cerebro en modelos roedores al tomar decisiones relacionadas con el\u00a0consumo de alcohol\u00a0y los entrenaron para presionar una palanca a cambio de esta sustancia u otro tipo de recompensas sociales.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Se dieron cuenta de que las ratas prefer\u00edan esta sustancia a otras alternativas, ya que esta regi\u00f3n se activaba m\u00e1s durante\u00a0ejercicios\u00a0cuyo premio era bebida que en otras donde se les retribu\u00eda de manera diferente.<\/p>\n

Un modelo matem\u00e1tico posterior sugiri\u00f3 que la activaci\u00f3n era muy r\u00e1pida, por lo que tardaban poco tiempo en elegir el alcohol<\/p>\n

Este hallazgo fue visible, sobre todo, antes de tomar la decisi\u00f3n. As\u00ed, un modelo matem\u00e1tico posterior sugiri\u00f3 que la activaci\u00f3n era muy r\u00e1pida, por lo que tardaban poco tiempo en elegir el alcohol.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan explican los expertos, su trabajo busca descomponer la\u00a0toma de decisiones\u00a0y observar la forma en la que estos roedores eligen y desempe\u00f1an una acci\u00f3n para obtener una recompensa.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cEste mismo enfoque podr\u00eda aplicase a los\u00a0seres humanos\u00a0que consumen alcohol y nos ayudar\u00eda a descifrar las se\u00f1ales de esta regi\u00f3n que intervienen en la toma de decisiones\u201d, concluye el l\u00edder del proyecto,\u00a0Nathan Marchan. \u00a0<\/p>\n
