Hoy los cient\u00edficos sit\u00faan su origen en galaxias lejanas.<\/p>\n<p>Aquella part\u00edcula sorprendi\u00f3 a la comunidad cient\u00edfica por su carga energ\u00e9tica nunca vista y cientos de expertos emprendieron una minuciosa investigaci\u00f3n para tratar de fijar su procedencia. Los resultados se publican en\u00a0Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics.<\/p>\n<p>Los neutrinos no interact\u00faan con casi nada y ofrecen informaci\u00f3n diferente a la procedente de la luz o de los rayos X<\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores informan que su origen se debe a bl\u00e1zares lejanos, es decir galaxias con\u00a0agujeros negros gigantes que lanzan chorros de energ\u00eda en direcci\u00f3n a la Tierra.<\/p>\n<p>Este hallazgo ayudar\u00eda a comprender la naturaleza de los neutrinos, ya que no interact\u00faan con casi nada y ofrecen informaci\u00f3n diferente a la que llega de la luz o de los rayos X.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Potentes pero lejanos<\/h2>\n<p>Una infraestructura en el mar Mediterr\u00e1neo \u2013llamada KM3NeT\u2013 alberga telescopios submarinos capaces de detectar neutrinos del espacio o de la atm\u00f3sfera de la Tierra. Uno de ellos registr\u00f3 en 2023 el m\u00e1s extraordinario hasta la fecha, con una energ\u00eda de 220 PeV, es decir 40 000 veces m\u00e1s potente que la de neutrinos procedentes del Sol.<\/p>\n<p>Los bl\u00e1zares lejanos eran la fuente m\u00e1s plausible de este tipo neutrinos de gran energ\u00eda como el que se capt\u00f3 en el Mediterr\u00e1neo<\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores simularon todos los eventos que podr\u00edan haber ocurrido y que justificar\u00edan la llegada a la Tierra de esa part\u00edcula gigante pero invisible.
