Este procedimiento, aunque revolucionario,\u00a0puede costar cientos de miles de euros a los sistemas sanitarios, lo que deja fuera a muchos pacientes cuyo c\u00e1ncer progresa durante esta espera.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora, un equipo de cient\u00edficos de la Universidad de California en San Francisco (UCSF) ha desarrollado un m\u00e9todo para reprogramar estas c\u00e9lulas directamente dentro del cuerpo. El avance, publicado esta semana en la revista <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41586-026-10235-x\" target=\"_blank\">Nature<\/a>, supone la primera vez que se logra integrar una secuencia larga de ADN en un lugar espec\u00edfico de las c\u00e9lulas T humanas sin haberlas extra\u00eddo nunca del organismo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quotebefore.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Es el comienzo de una gran ola de nuevas terapias que ser\u00e1n verdaderamente transformadoras y salvar\u00e1n muchas vidas<\/p>\n<p>Justin Eyquem, UCSF<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quoteafter.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cCreo que esto es solo el comienzo de una gran ola de nuevas terapias que ser\u00e1n verdaderamente transformadoras y salvar\u00e1n muchas vidas\u201d, afirma\u00a0Justin Eyquem, profesor asociado de medicina en la UCSF y autor principal del estudio. Seg\u00fan los investigadores, este enfoque de precisi\u00f3n super\u00f3 al m\u00e9todo est\u00e1ndar de integraci\u00f3n aleatoria de ADN mediante virus, lo que supone un hito para la terapia g\u00e9nica.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Tijeras moleculares dirigidas<\/h2>\n<p>Para conseguir que la edici\u00f3n ocurriera solo donde era necesario, los cient\u00edficos dise\u00f1aron un sistema de doble part\u00edcula que transporta la maquinaria CRISPR Cas9. La primera part\u00edcula est\u00e1 recubierta con anticuerpos que solo se unen a la prote\u00edna CD3, presente exclusivamente en la superficie de las c\u00e9lulas T. Una sola inyecci\u00f3n del sistema de doble part\u00edcula elimin\u00f3 todo rastro detectable de c\u00e1ncer en casi todos los ejemplares en solo dos semanas.
