La distribuci\u00f3n global de estos pol\u00edmeros en 23 tipos de ambientes, \u2014desde sedimentos oce\u00e1nicos profundos hasta suelos, fuentes termales o regiones polares\u2014muestra que el potencial de biodegradaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 fuertemente influido por las condiciones ecol\u00f3gicas locales.<\/p>\n<p>Algunos h\u00e1bitats, como los suelos o los ecosistemas endol\u00edticos, presentan un notable enriquecimiento en enzimas degradadoras, lo que sugiere procesos de adaptaci\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica local.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa capacidad microbiana de degradar pl\u00e1sticos no solo es amplia, sino que est\u00e1 claramente moldeada por el entorno\u00bb, afirma Kari Saikkonen (UTU), coautor del art\u00edculo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quotebefore.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La capacidad microbiana de degradar pl\u00e1sticos no solo es amplia, sino que est\u00e1 claramente moldeada por el entorno<\/p>\n<p>Kari Saikkonen, UTU<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quoteafter.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Desde el punto de vista de los materiales y las aplicaciones, estos resultados muestran c\u00f3mo la adaptaci\u00f3n microbiana puede inspirar nuevas soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas.
