Los resultados, publicados en Talanta, muestran un m\u00e9todo sencillo, port\u00e1til y econ\u00f3mico, aunque todav\u00eda requiere optimizaci\u00f3n antes de su aplicaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Tecnolog\u00eda de tira reactiva<\/h2>\n<p>El sistema utiliza tiras reactivas similares a las de los test de ant\u00edgenos para analizar muestras de plasma. Tras ajustar distintos componentes, el prototipo logr\u00f3 diferenciar con precisi\u00f3n entre pacientes y personas sanas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEs la primera aplicaci\u00f3n de un inmunoensayo de flujo lateral cuantitativo para detectar sAXL en plasma\u201d, explica Juan Pablo Salvador, investigador del IQAC-CSIC y coautor del estudio.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quotebefore.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Es la primera aplicaci\u00f3n de un inmunoensayo de flujo lateral cuantitativo para detectar sAXL en plasma<\/p>\n<p>Juan Pablo Salvador( IQAC-CSIC)<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/bundles\/app\/images\/quoteafter.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>El m\u00e9todo se basa en anticuerpos que reconocen esta prote\u00edna, que forma parte del funcionamiento normal del organismo pero aparece sobreexpresada en varios tipos de c\u00e1ncer. En el de p\u00e1ncreas, se encuentra en niveles elevados en m\u00e1s del 70 % de los tumores. \u201cHace a\u00f1os demostramos que su presencia en sangre es un marcador de pacientes con el tumor\u201d, se\u00f1ala Pilar Navarro (IIBB-CSIC y HMRIB).<\/p>\n<p>El equipo compar\u00f3 los resultados con t\u00e9cnicas est\u00e1ndar como ELISA, lo que permiti\u00f3 validar la capacidad diagn\u00f3stica del dispositivo.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Necesidad cl\u00ednica urgente<\/h2>\n<p>El adenocarcinoma ductal pancre\u00e1tico es la tercera causa de muerte por c\u00e1ncer en pa\u00edses desarrollados. Su pron\u00f3stico es desfavorable porque suele detectarse en fases avanzadas: m\u00e1s del 85 % de los casos se diagnostican cuando ya no es posible operar.<\/p>\n<p>Disponer de herramientas r\u00e1pidas y accesibles para su detecci\u00f3n precoz es una prioridad cl\u00ednica, destacan los investigadores.<\/p>\n<p>En la actualidad, m\u00e1s del 85 % de los casos se diagnostican cuando ya no es posible operar<\/p>\n<p>El test requiere poco equipamiento, reduce el tiempo de an\u00e1lisis y podr\u00eda utilizarse en entornos con recursos limitados o directamente en el punto de atenci\u00f3n sanitaria. Este enfoque facilitar\u00eda un diagn\u00f3stico m\u00e1s accesible.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Navarro, el objetivo es acercar la detecci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer de p\u00e1ncreas a la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica habitual. Aun as\u00ed, N\u00faria V\u00e1zquez-Bell\u00f3n, primera autora, subraya que el sistema necesita mejoras antes de su uso en pacientes.<\/p>\n<p><a><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Colaboraci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n<p>El estudio surge de una colaboraci\u00f3n impulsada por ayudas semilla del CSIC y ha contado con financiaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica y el apoyo de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Pacientes con C\u00e1ncer de P\u00e1ncreas (ACANPAN). En el proyecto han participado grupos del CIBER y del IDIBAPS junto a cl\u00ednicos del Hospital del Mar.
