La publicaci\u00f3n recoge datos sobre su prevalencia, evoluci\u00f3n prevista, repercusi\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica y social y percepci\u00f3n de las personas que conviven con la enfermedad.<\/p>\n<p>Entre las cifras destacadas, la infograf\u00eda se\u00f1ala que m\u00e1s de 55 millones de personas viven actualmente con demencia en todo el mundo y que cada tres segundos una persona desarrolla una demencia. Las previsiones apuntan, adem\u00e1s, a un importante incremento en las pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas, hasta alcanzar los 78 millones de personas en 2030 y 139 millones en 2050. El documento tambi\u00e9n pone el foco en el impacto econ\u00f3mico de la demencia, estimado en 1,3 billones de d\u00f3lares anuales, as\u00ed como en la discriminaci\u00f3n que manifiestan experimentar el 88 % de las personas que viven con demencia.<\/p>\n<p>Esta infograf\u00eda forma parte de la campa\u00f1a \u00ab30 d\u00edas, 30 gestos\u00bb, una iniciativa del centro de referencia del <abbr title=\"Instituto de Mayores y Servicios Sociales\">Imserso<\/abbr> en Salamanca que, a lo largo del mes de septiembre, propone diferentes contenidos y acciones para promover el conocimiento sobre el Alzheimer y otras demencias y fomentar una sociedad m\u00e1s informada, comprometida y respetuosa con las personas que viven con ellas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El blog del CREA publica una nueva infograf\u00eda que re\u00fane algunas cifras que permiten dimensionar el impacto de la enfermedad de Alzheimer y las demencias a nivel mundial.
